Strengthening Our Fight Against Dengue π¦π

As part of the municipalityβs intensified campaign against dengue under the leadership of Hon. Mayor Esterlina Ancheta Aguinaldo, the Municipal Health Office through the initiative of our MHO, Dr. Carolina D. Maruquin conducted an emergency joint meeting with our Liga ng mga Barangay Captains, Barangay Nutrition Scholars (BNS), Barangay Health Workers (BHW), Maam Aerphel Cudal Tauyan (PHN), and Maam Monique Solisa Carpio (RSI-Designate) to discuss and strengthen our collective efforts in dengue prevention and control.
The meeting served as a venue to share best practices, exchange ideas, and identify effective strategies that can further improve the dengue prevention measures already being implemented in our communities. Among the initiatives discussed were the continued planting of citronella, regular clean-up drives, intensified information campaigns, and strengthened community participation.
Prevention starts in our own homes. We should not wait for someone to get sick before taking action. We encourage every household to keep both the inside and outside of their homes clean, eliminate stagnant water, and regularly inspect areas where mosquitoes may breed.
Together, through cooperation and shared responsibility, we can build a healthier and dengue-free community. Letβs all do our part in protecting our families and neighbors.
