The year 2023 and early 2024 offered us and many farmers difficulty in sourcing out DOPs or Day Old Pullets locally as all major suppliers had production gaps while others completely stop producing. Production input costs that continuously shoot up contribute to this and are out of our hands. As we are a dedicated free range chicken farm and will continuously do it, we have to find ways creatively to serve our existing clients no matter what the business environment is.

Recently, we also imported some stocks and we may share RTLs or (Ready To Lay) hens around mid of July 2024. We still have some to share should anyone is interested. We will be using our new line TETRA (Brown Egg Producers). A new line in the Philippines but have been in business globally for decades. We have personally met them since 2016.

Supply of brown DOPs has been a concern recently. Many have stopped especially small backyard farms. These are things most farmers didn't secure and pay attention to either because it slipped the mind of the farmers, or they could not plan it at their capacity. One thing we have to get ourselves reminded of is that, we created this market years back and we can never turn our back on it.

I always get reminded that,

"We can never solve a problem or concern at the same level of thinking when we created them"

One has to very creative and stick to the plan as one has envisioned it.

Things will be exciting this year for the production of brown 🥚 especially on the free range farming side.
