Ang unhealthy diet, kakulangan sa exercise, at family history ay ilan lamang sa mga salik na maaaring makaapekto sa cholesterol levels.

Dahil kadalasan ay walang sintomas, laboratory testing ang isa sa mga paraan upang malaman ang iyong cholesterol level kung ito ay inirerekomenda ng iyong doktor o bilang bahagi ng regular health screening.

Hindi lahat ng pananakit ng dibdib ay pare-pareho ang dahilan. Kung nakakaranas ka ng palpitations, chest discomfort, madaling hingalin, o nahihilo, mahalagang magpatingin sa doktor upang malaman ang susunod na hakbang.

Ang ECG (Electrocardiogram) ay isang simpleng pagsusuri na tumutulong makita ang electrical activity ng puso at maaaring irekomenda ng iyong doktor depende sa iyong sintomas.
