Johnson & Johnson has agreed to a $5.5bn settlement covering about 69,000 lawsuits alleging its baby powder and other talc products caused ovarian cancer.

The company said the deal resolves 99.75% of the remaining talc claims. Johnson & Johnson continues to deny its talc products caused cancer.
