As the rainy season continues, stagnant water can become a breeding ground for Aedes mosquitoes, which can transmit dengue.
🚨 KNOW THE SIGNS OF DENGUE:
• Sudden high fever
• Severe headache
• Pain behind the eyes
• Muscle and joint pain
• Nausea and vomiting
• Skin rashes
⚠️ WATCH OUT FOR WARNING SIGNS:
Severe abdominal pain, persistent vomiting, bleeding, extreme weakness/restlessness, or difficulty breathing require immediate medical attention.
🛡️ PREVENT DENGUE:
✅ Search and destroy mosquito breeding places
✅ Secure and cover water containers
✅ Self-check for symptoms
✅ Seek early medical consultation

• Wear long sleeves and pants
• Use mosquito repellents
• Use screens on doors and windows
• Sleep under mosquito nets
• Keep your surroundings clean and free of stagnant water
