Successful Breastfeeding Awareness Activity – August 26, 2026

​We extend our deepest gratitude to all the young mothers who actively participated in our recent activity!

​During the session, our Barangay Nutrition Scholar (BNS) and BHW shared essential knowledge and practical insights on breastfeeding awareness. The activity was successfully conducted under the dedicated supervision of our Rural Health Midwife (RHM), Ma'am Regina D. Libangan, and our Nurse, Ma'am Zavier C. Agsib.

👀HPV VACCINATION & MR SIA MOP-UP DONE ✅

Today, Grade 4 female pupils received their HPV vaccine at Balantoy Health Station.

WHAT IS HPV?

HPV = Human Papillomavirus. It is a common virus transmitted through skin-to-skin contact. Some types of HPV can cause cervical cancer, ge***al warts, and other cancers later in life. Cervical cancer is the 2nd most common cancer among Filipino women.

WHY THE HPV VACCINE?

The HPV vaccine is safe and effective. It protects against the HPV types that cause 70% of cervical cancers.

Best given at Grade 4 because it works best BEFORE exposure to the virus. 2 doses = long-term protection.

Prevention is better than cure 💗

📌MR SIA MOP-UP ALSO DONE
We vaccinated 5 eligible children for Measles-Rubella today to ensure no child is left behind and to maintain community protection.

Let's continue to protect our children through vaccination.

Heads Up: Amazing Teamwork in Action! 💪✨

A big salute to the unwavering teamwork of our dedicated Barangay Councils and staff and hardworking Health Workers for serving our beloved community!

Today, the 2nd batch of Measles-Rubella Supplemental Immunization Activity was successfully held at Bulo Open Gym

Right after, the team visited Bulo Primary School to distribute deworming tablets to our bright young pupils.

Meanwhile, free community consultation is ongoing at the Open Gym to provide essential health services to our senior citizens who are unable to visit the BHS.

Big shoutout to all committed Council Staff and selfless, compassionate Health Workers for your tireless and collective service to our community. You are true health heroes! 🙏💚
