is the national professional organization of radiologic technologists accredited by the Professional Regulation Commission. It was conceived in 1954 with primary objectives of uniting radiologic technologists into one umbrella, both from government and private institutions. The objectives of the association is to promote their general welfare, and to upgrade the practice of radiologic technology
so as to meet the standard for the protection of Life, Health and Property. The Association has established 17 provincial chapters all over the Philippines;
The association maintains its friendship and brotherhood to other medical and paramedical association as affiliate and chapter member of the International Society of Radiographers and Radiological Technologists (ISRRT) in 1969 and affiliate of the Philippine College of Radiology (PCR). Charter member of Philippine Chamber of Health, Council of Professional Health Associations (COPHA), Council of Health Agencies of the Philippines (CHAP), and Philippine Federation of Professional Associations (PFPA).
