Vinze Borgy D. Lerion is a newly Registered Nurse from the province of Bohol, with specialized training in wound care under the guidance of Dr. Delos Reyes. Through his training and mentorship, He has gained valuable hands-on experience at Bohol Advanced Wound Care Clinic where he has developed the knowledge and skills to provide effective wound care management.

He is committed to patient safety through proper assessment and wound management. He values health education and safe patient care throughout every stage of treatment.

Vinze believes that quality wound care goes beyond treating a wound. It helps promote healing and prevent complications while improving the patient’s quality of life. As a Boholano and a nurse he hopes to use his skills and knowledge to serve and help heal the people of his home province.

Meet Our Wound Care Nurse — Joseph Bersabal!

Behind every successful wound care treatment is a team that understands that healing requires not only skill, but also patience, compassion, and genuine care.

Joseph Bersabal, our dedicated Wound Care Nurse at Bohol Advanced Wound Care Clinic (BAWCC), has been an important part of our wound care team for more than a year. Through his experience assisting in handling wound care patients, he has developed a gentle and attentive approach—making sure that every patient feels comfortable, understood, and well cared for throughout their treatment.

From assisting during wound assessment , assisting advanced wound care procedures to dressing changes, patient education, and continued follow-up, Joseph works closely with our medical team to help provide consistent and quality care for every patient who walks through our doors.

What truly defines Joseph is his patience and compassion toward our patients. He understands that many patients come to us not only with difficult wounds, but also with fear, discomfort, and uncertainty. A reassuring voice, a careful hand, and someone willing to listen can make a meaningful difference in their healing journey.

At BAWCC, we are proud to have Joseph as one of the caring hands behind our patients' recovery—because excellent wound care is not simply about treating a wound. It is about caring for the person, supporting their journey, and helping them heal with dignity.

When we started Bohol Advanced Wound Care Clinic ( BAWCC) at Medical Mission Group Hospital & Health Services Cooperative of Bohol last year, the goal was simple: to give our patients access to specialized, evidence-based and advanced wound care here in Bohol—with treatment centered not only on the wound, but on the person carrying it.

As an Orthopedic / Hand surgeon and Wound Care Specialist for more than a decade of expeience,I have seen how a seemingly small wound can become a life-changing problem when treatment is delayed. I have also seen what can happen when we intervene early, assess properly, control infection, perform appropriate debridement, and guide the patient consistently throughout the healing process. That is the kind of care we continue to build at BAWCC.

Today, BAWCC continues to grow—but our principle remains the same since day one:
