Top Notes
The top notes are the fragrance notes immediately recognised after perfume was sprayed. It is the lightest of all the notes, so, top notes are also the first to fade – however, it plays an important role.

First impression lasts, as what they say. And that what Top notes represent, the First Impression. Top note's fragrance may not last, but they’re the first thing you’ll smell when trying a new fragrance. It also represent the initial scents that catch you, causing you to make your first impression of the fragrance.

Heart Notes
Heart notes lie at the heart of the fragrance, also known as middle notes. This scent is the foundation of any fragrance. It is approximately 40-80% of the final fragrance.

Heart notes start to make its appearance just before the top notes fade away and will strongly influence the base notes to come. It plays a major role in the final fragrance.

Base Notes
Base notes will start its appearance once the top notes have completely evaporated. It makes up 10-25% of the final fragrance. Base notes also blend with the heart notes to deepen the complexity of the fragrance.

While top notes is the first impression, the base notes creates the final, lasting impression.

Base notes are often rich and smooth, and it is the longest lasting fragrance of the three notes.

What are some of the benefits in using perfume?

*Enhances mood - Pleasant smells improve "human's physical and psychological well-being". We recognize scent using our olfactory system (sense of smell), electrical signals will be sent to the brain, and our memories, emotions will be triggered.

*Boost confidence - Knowing that we smell good can build our confidence, since primarily, body odor will be neutralize. Having the confidence can also help us be the best of ourself.

*Makes you attractive - Your fragrance will be the first impression of you when you enter a place, and will have a lasting impression when you leave. Did you experience smelling fragrance of a person who passed by you? Did your eyes subconsciously looked over that person?
