ADVISORY TO RESEARCHERS AND ACADEMIC INSTITUTIONS
Regarding the Purchase and Use of Microbial Strains
We would like to remind all researchers, students, faculty members, and institutions that microbial strains obtained from internationally recognized culture collections such as American Type Culture Collection (ATCC) and BeNa Culture Collection (BNCC) are generally provided for legitimate research, educational, and laboratory purposes only.
Researchers are advised that:
• Microbial strains must only be used in accordance with the terms and conditions set by the original culture collection provider.
• Unauthorized resale, redistribution, sharing, transfer, replication for commercial distribution, or re-supply of purchased strains to third parties may violate licensing agreements, material transfer agreements (MTAs), intellectual property rights, and applicable regulations.
• Culture collection strains are intended for use by the registered purchasing institution, laboratory, or researcher and should not be treated as commercial products for onward sale without proper authorization from the originating culture collection.
• Researchers should ensure that all handling, storage, transportation, and use of microbial cultures comply with institutional biosafety policies and relevant government regulations.
• Prior to procurement, researchers are encouraged to verify the intended use of the strain and review any restrictions imposed by the originating culture collection.
PrimeCare BioLink Solutions Co. supports responsible research practices and ethical use of biological materials. We encourage all researchers to obtain microbial strains through authorized channels and to strictly observe all licensing, biosafety, and regulatory requirements associated with their use.
