IDLD Global City proudly supported the HSP Ultrasound Workshop, hosted by the Hepatology Society of the Philippines on August 8, 2026.

The program opened with a Liver Conference presented by our fellow, Dr. Jem Cabusas, followed by lectures and hands-on ultrasound training.

Our consultants, Dr. Ian Cua, Dr. Juliet Cervantes, and Dr. Suzette Kho-Herman, also served as faculty and speakers, sharing their expertise with the participants.

Education empowers healthier communities.

Today, in celebration of World Hepatitis Day, the SLMC Global City Institute of Digestive and Liver Diseases in partnership with the Hepatology Society of the Philippines, conducted a lay forum to raise awareness about viral hepatitis, emphasizing the importance of prevention, early detection, and timely treatment.

In observance of Nutrition Month, a separate session was also held to emphasize the importance of good nutrition and healthy eating habits for overall health and well-being.

Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make today's event a success. Together, we continue to promote healthier communities through education and advocacy.

A successful afternoon of hands-on learning at our Endoscopy Skills Workshop held on 4 July 2026! 👏

IDLD–Global City consultants, fellows, faculty, and endoscopy nurses came together to practice a wide range of therapeutic endoscopy techniques through dedicated ex vivo stations, strengthening technical skills in a safe and realistic training environment.

Special thanks to our Course Director, Dr. Nikko Raymundo, our faculty, nursing team, and our industry partners—Boston Scientific, ERBE, and Somnotec—for their invaluable support.
