Foreign Body Extraction Success 🚑🏥⚕️

Our team successfully removed a foreign body obstruction specifically the hard part (puti) of a balut—from a patient's esophagus via endoscopy.

While balut is a well-loved delicacy, its tough portion can pose a severe choking hazard if not chewed thoroughly. Kudos to the MMGH Endoscopy Team: Dra. Dizza R. Dujali, Dra. Jen Mabilangan-Balili and Endo Staff for a swift and successful intervention!
