Oo, may mga nanay na mas naging madali ang breastfeeding journey nila kaysa sa iba.
Pero para sa napakaraming nanay...

Bitak-bitak at masakit na utong.
Masakit na hakab.
Walang tigil na pagdede ng bata.
Paulit-ulit na paggising sa kalagitnaan ng gabi.

Mga luha.

Paulit-ulit na pagsasaayos sa maling posisyon.

At napakahabang oras ng pagpapasuso habang tulog pa ang lahat.

Ang breastfeeding ay hindi lang basta nangyayari.

Para sa maraming nanay, ito ay buwan, o kahit taon, ng patuloy na pagpili na magpatuloy—kahit sa mga araw na gusto na nilang sumuko.

Kung nagpapasuso ka sa iyong anak, bigyan mo rin ng pagkilala ang sarili mo.
Hindi lang ito swerte.
