On August 23, 2026, the Tanza Wellness Center – Social Hygiene Clinic conducted HIV Awareness and Screening during the First Ever Miss Bebot 2026 in Barangay Daang Amaya II.

Amid the laughter, entertainment and fierce performances, we were grateful for the opportunity to bring HIV awareness and screening closer to the community.

We also promoted HIV combination prevention, bringing together different prevention strategies such as condom use, regular HIV testing, PrEP, PEP, and treatment as prevention (U=U) to help reduce the risk of HIV transmission.

Events like this create opportunities to connect with the community and promote the importance of HIV prevention, early detection, and knowing your status.

On August 22, 2026, the Tanza Wellness Center – Social Hygiene Clinic conducted HIV Awareness and Screening during the Ms. Pride Ambassadress 2026 of Barangay Daang Amaya III.

As the community came together to celebrate pride, unity, and empowerment, we were grateful for the opportunity to bring HIV awareness, education, and screening closer to the community.

Promoting HIV awareness and encouraging regular HIV testing are important steps toward a healthier, informed, and more inclusive community.

On August 21, 2026, during the Queen of Mulawin All Stars 2026, the Tanza Wellness Center – Social Hygiene Clinic, through the PROTECTS UPSCALE program of Pilipinas Shell Foundation, Inc. (PSFI), with Sustained Health Initiatives of the Philippines (SHIP), conducted HIV awareness and HIV screening for participants and audience members at Barangay Mulawin Covered Court.

The event also provided access to combination HIV prevention services, including condoms, HIV self-test kits, and PrEP (Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis).

In celebration of Fiesta ni San Agustin, the Tanza Wellness Center – Social Hygiene Clinic proudly participated in the Street Dancing Competition 2026, with the theme “Festival Fusion,” held on August 18, 2026.

As part of our commitment to promoting health and wellness in the community, our team conducted HIV Awareness and HIV Screening during the event. Through activities like this, we continue to encourage everyone to learn more about HIV, know their status, and make informed choices for their health. ❤️

Empowering Parents Through HIV Awareness and Education

The Tanza Wellness Center – Social Hygiene Clinic successfully conducted HIV Awareness and FREE & CONFIDENTIAL HIV Screening during the Parent in Action: Engaging Parents on Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention seminar with the theme "Gabay ng Magulang, Tagumpay ng Kabataan," held on July 23, 2026, at Tanza National Comprehensive High School.

The activity aimed to equip parents with essential knowledge on HIV prevention, early detection, and the importance of open communication in promoting the health and well-being of adolescents.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to Mr. Symson G. Maquera, Regional Program Officer of Cavite, for sharing his expertise and valuable insights on HIV, helping empower parents to become informed advocates for their families and communities.

Thank you to the organizers, participants, and everyone who supported this meaningful activity. Together, we continue to build a healthier, more informed, and HIV-aware community.

Bringing FREE and CONFIDENTIAL HIV Screening Closer to the Community

The Tanza Wellness Center – Social Hygiene Clinic, in partnership with the Philippine Tuberculosis Society, Inc. (PTSI), successfully conducted HIV Awareness and CONFIDENTIAL HIV Screening activities on June 22, 2026, at Barangay Mulawin and July 22, 2026, at Barangay Capipisa, Tanza, Cavite.

These community outreach activities aim to raise awareness about HIV, encourage early detection, and provide accessible HIV Screening services in a safe, confidential, and supportive environment. At the same time, PTSI conducted FREE Chest X-ray services through its Active Case Finding (ACF) program to help strengthen tuberculosis prevention and early detection in the community.

We extend our sincere gratitude to our barangay officials, partners, healthcare workers, and everyone who participated and supported these activities. Together, we continue to bring quality healthcare closer to every Tanzeño.

Muling nagsagawa ang Tanza Wellness Center – Social Hygiene Clinic ng kanilang Monthly HIV Screening sa Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) Tanza ngayong araw, July 15, 2026, bilang bahagi ng patuloy na pagpapalakas ng kampanya laban sa HIV at pagsusulong ng kalusugan sa komunidad.

Isinagawa ang aktibidad na ito sa ilalim ng mga programang pangkalusugan ng Pamahalaang Bayan ng Tanza sa pangunguna ni Mayor Archangelo “SM” B. Matro.

Layunin ng aktibidad na mapalawak ang kaalaman tungkol sa HIV prevention, mabigyan ng tamang impormasyon, at makapagbigay ng libreng at confidential na HIV screening upang masigurong maagapan at mapangalagaan ang kalusugan ng bawat isa.

Maraming salamat sa BJMP Tanza sa patuloy na pakikiisa at suporta sa pagsusulong ng isang komunidad na may sapat na kaalaman, ligtas, at malusog.
