❗ Please be informed that Dr. Rommel M. Hernandez will be out of the clinic on April 17, 2026. However, the medical service unit will remain open to serve clients with other medical concerns.

📅 April 21–24, 2026 (Tuesday–Friday)
⏰ Day Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Fungal skin infections such as candidiasis, athlete’s foot, and ringworm are common and contagious, especially in warm, moist areas of the body.

⚠️ SIGNS & SYMPTOMS
Itching, redness, or rashes
Peeling or cracked skin
Discolored or thickened nails
White patches or unusual discharge
🔄 HOW IT SPREADS
Skin-to-skin contact
Sharing towels, shoes, or clothing
Walking barefoot in damp public areas

The Medical Services Unit encourages everyone to take precautionary measures against Conjunctivitis, a contagious eye condition.

👁️ Symptoms to watch for:
Red, itchy, or painful eyes, watery or thick discharge, and crusting of eyelids

🛡️ Prevention:
✔️ Practice proper handwashing
✔️ Avoid touching or rubbing your eyes
✔️ Do not share personal items (towels, makeup, eye drops)
✔️ Disinfect frequently touched surfaces

🏥 Reminder:
Maintain good hygiene and stay home if feeling unwell. Seek medical care if symptoms appear or persist.

Health Advisory: Stay Safe in the Heat!

With rising temperatures, protect yourself from heat-related illnesses:

⚠️ Know the signs:
• Heat cramps – muscle pain
• Heat exhaustion – dizziness, heavy sweating, weakness
• Heatstroke 🚨 – very high temperature, confusion (EMERGENCY)

🛡️ Stay protected:
• 💧 Drink plenty of water
• 🧢 Stay in cool/shaded areas
• 👕 Wear light, loose clothing
• ⏰ Avoid outdoor activities from 10 AM–4 PM

🚑 What to do:
• Heat exhaustion: rest, cool down, hydrate
• Heatstroke: seek emergency help immediately

Please be advised that Dr. Hernandez will be out of the clinic on March 17–19, 2026.

During this period, the Medical Service Unit will remain open and operational from 7:00 AM to 6:40 PM to accommodate clients with other medical concerns and services.

However, on March 20, 2026 (Friday), the Medical Service Unit will be closed in observance of Eid’l Fitr, a declared regular holiday.
