Sa ilalim ng Republic Act No. 11166 (Philippine HIV and AIDS Policy Act), ipinagbabawal ang diskriminasyon laban sa People Living with HIV (PLHIV) sa lugar ng trabaho.

Ang HIV status ay hindi dapat maging dahilan para mawalan ng trabaho o mawalan ng pantay na oportunidad.

🤔 Alam mo ba na bawal isiwalat ang HIV status ng isang tao nang walang kanyang pahintulot?

Sa ilalim ng RA 11166 (Philippine HIV and AIDS Policy Act), ang HIV status ng isang tao ay kumpidensyal at protektado ng batas.

Ang sinumang magbunyag ng HIV status nang walang pahintulot ay maaaring makulong ng 6 buwan hanggang 2 taon at pagmultahin ng ₱50,000 hanggang ₱150,000, depende sa kaso.

Ang paggalang sa privacy ay paggalang sa dignidad ng bawat isa. Sama-sama nating wakasan ang stigma at diskriminasyon laban sa mga taong may HIV.
