2nd Quarter Visual Learning Session for Children with Disabilities (CWDs)
May 13, 2026 | STAC

As part of its quarterly developmental activities, the Stimulation and Therapeutic Activity Center (STAC) successfully conducted the 2nd Quarter Visual Learning Session for Children with Disabilities (CWDs) on May 13, 2026, with the theme “Colors, Shapes, and Sorting Concepts.” This activity is regularly conducted on top of the core service of STAC, which is the daily provision of Physical Therapy services to CWDs.

The activity aimed to enhance the children’s visual discrimination, categorization skills, and early academic concepts through engaging visual presentations and interactive discussions. Hands-on activities included identifying primary and secondary colors, actual mixing of primary colors using computer ink, coloring activities, and identification of different shapes to further reinforce learning in a fun and interactive way.

Parents were also encouraged to continue teaching and reinforcing these concepts at home to support the children’s continuous learning and development.

The session encouraged active participation, social interaction, and cognitive development among the children while providing an enjoyable and supportive learning environment. Overall, the activity was successful in promoting the holistic growth and learning abilities of the participating CWDs.

The Stimulation and Therapeutic Activity Center (STAC) of TCPGH conducted a meaningful Socialization Program in the afternoon, following the morning Hydrotherapy session for children with disabilities (CWDs). This activity aimed to provide a safe, joyful, and inclusive space where CWDs, parents, and staff could interact, build connections, and promote social, emotional, and psychological well-being as part of STAC’s holistic development programs.

The program featured the showcasing of talents from CWDs, parents, and staff, highlighting their unique abilities and boosting confidence and self-expression. Fun and interactive games were also actively participated in and enjoyed by both children and parents, promoting teamwork, bonding, and positive engagement.

The Socialization Program created a lasting positive impact by fostering a sense of belonging, strengthening relationships, and encouraging confidence among parents and CWDs. It also provided parents with an opportunity to connect, relax, and feel supported—proving that beyond therapy, shared experiences and joyful moments play a vital role in holistic development.

STAC TCPGH Hydrotherapy Activity for Children with Disabilities (CWDs)
April 23, 2026 | Hotel Carmelita

Today, the Stimulation and Therapeutic Activity Center (STAC) of TCPGH successfully conducted a Hydrotherapy Activity for Children with Disabilities (CWDs) at Hotel Carmelita, providing a meaningful and refreshing therapeutic experience for our beneficiaries.

The activity was designed with the primary objective of enhancing the physical, sensory, and psychosocial development of CWDs through water-based therapy. Hydrotherapy serves as an effective intervention to improve muscle strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination, while also promoting relaxation and reducing muscle stiffness. Moreover, it provides a supportive environment where children can move more freely and confidently.

A total of 60 CWDs participated in the activity, divided into four (4) batches of hydrotherapy sessions to ensure safety, proper guidance, and individualized attention. Each session was carefully supervised by the STAC team, ensuring that therapeutic goals were met while maintaining a fun and engaging atmosphere.

Beyond the structured sessions, an equally valuable part of the activity was the free swim time provided after each session. The children, together with their parents, were given the opportunity to enjoy the pool, fostering family bonding, social interaction, and emotional well-being. This allowed the participants to fully experience the joy of water while also helping them cope with the heat in a safe and enjoyable way.

This hydrotherapy activity is one of the many developmental programs of STAC TCPGH designed to support the holistic development of children with disabilities, complementing the regular physical therapy sessions, which remain the core service of STAC TCPGH.

The STAC TCPGH team extends its heartfelt gratitude to the City Government of Tuguegarao, through the leadership of Mayor Maila Ting Que, for their continued support in making programs like this possible for our children and their families.

Overall, the activity highlighted the holistic benefits of hydrotherapy—not only in improving physical function but also in boosting confidence, encouraging socialization, and creating joyful shared experiences between children and their families.

STAC TCPGH remains committed to delivering inclusive and meaningful programs that continuously support the growth, empowerment, and over-all well-being of children with disabilities and their families.

STAC–TCPGH | First Quarter Visual Learning Session 2026

On February 27,2026 , at STAC-TCPGH, the Stimulation Therapeutic Activity Center successfully conducted its First Quarter Visual Learning Session for our Children with Disabilities (CWDs).This activity is part of the programs and services of STAC TCPGH designed for the holistic development of CWDs,complementing its core service of providing free physical therapy, funded by the City Government of Tuguegarao under the leadership of Mayor Maila Ting Que.

The session focused on structured visual strategies to strengthen Activities of Daily Living (ADL), daily routines, and personal hygiene. Through clear visual guides, step-by-step demonstrations, and interactive materials, our CWDs learned essential skills such as proper toothbrushing, handwashing, grooming, and following simple routines. The session was followed by hands-on activities, allowing the children to practice and internalize what they learned in a supportive and encouraging environment.

The impact was evident—not only in improved participation, attention, and independence among the children, but also in the increased confidence of parents as they gained practical strategies to reinforce these skills at home.

Indeed, structured visual learning empowers both our CWDs and their families—building independence one meaningful step at a time. 💙
