The Cagayan Valley Center for Health Development joins the nation in celebrating Nutrition Month 2026 with the theme, "Sa PPAN: Sama-Sama sa Nutrisyong Sapat Para sa Lahat," and the sub-theme, "Nutrisyon at Kalikasan, Ating Pangalagaan!"
In Cagayan Valley, our rich agricultural lands and abundant fisheries are the foundation of our food security and nutrition. However, climate change continues to bring stronger typhoons, floods, droughts, and extreme temperatures that threaten crop production, fisheries, livelihoods, and access to safe and nutritious food.
By protecting our environment, supporting climate-resilient agriculture, reducing food waste, conserving our natural resources, and choosing healthy, locally produced foods, we help ensure that every family in Cagayan Valley has access to nutritious food today and for generations to come.
Together, let us protect the future of Region 2โone healthy meal, one sustainable choice, and one united community at a time.
Together, we can nourish our people, safeguard our environment, and build a healthier, more food-secure, and climate-resilient Cagayan Valley.
