Abangan ngayong Wednesday sa MBK Kamustahan sa 94.9 FM ang kwentuhan with the Gen Z's kasama ang dalawang beautiful daughters nina Dr. Marvin at Sis Anjo Barasi.

Bilang paghahanda sa ating Father’s Day Special ngayong buwan ng Hunyo, pakinggan natin kung paano hinarap ng dalawang young ladies na ito ang isa sa pinakamahirap at pinakaemosyonal na laban ng kanilang pamilya — ang makita ang kanilang mga magulang na dumaan sa cancer journey.

Paano nila kinaya ang takot, pag-aalala, at uncertainty? Paano nanatiling matatag ang kanilang pananampalataya at pagmamahal bilang mga anak?

Ito ay kwento ng pamilya, katatagan, pagmamahal, at pag-asa na siguradong tatagos sa puso ng bawat makikinig.

Join us po sa MBK kamustahan at samahan ninyo kaming magbigay-pugay sa mga ama, magulang, at pamilyang patuloy na lumalaban nang may tapang at pagmamahal.

Our heartfelt thanks to Kit for sharing a deeply moving perspective—the journey of a son caring for his mother who battled with cancer.

With hearts full of gratitude, we thank DENR RO2 headed by RED Atty.Ismael Manaligod, ARED Forester Eric Pasion, all department heads for the opportunity to share our stories during the Health Awareness Program held at Narra Hall.

It was truly a privilege for MBK (Mga Babaeng may K) to be part of this meaningful gathering and contribute to promoting health, wellness, hope, and resilience.

Congratulations to the MBK warriors—Claire, Jud, Pat, Mitch and Anjo, —for courageously sharing your cancer journeys and life lessons. Through your testimonies, life coaching insights, and arts and crafts activities, you were able to demonstrate that healing goes beyond the physical—it also involves nurturing the mind, strengthening the spirit, and rediscovering purpose.

Every story shared was a reminder that challenges can become platforms for inspiration, and that our scars can become symbols of strength, courage, and hope.

May we continue to light the way for others, empower fellow warriors, and inspire more people to embrace wellness, resilience, and meaningful living.

Once again thank you, DENR RO2, for allowing MBK to be part of this worthwhile endeavor. Together, we continue to build a healthier, stronger, and more compassionate community.

Siguro nagtataka ang ilan kung bakit naging bahagi ng MBK si Kag. Remelin kahit hindi siya cancer survivor. Siya po ay kagawad ng barangay sa Ugac Sur at tumutulong sa grupo ng MBK.

Ang totoo, malapit sa kanyang puso ang laban kontra cancer. Naranasan niyang alagaan ang kanyang biyenan na kalaunan ay pumanaw dahil sa sakit na ito. Dahil dito, nauunawaan niya ang hirap, sakripisyo, at emosyonal na paglalakbay na pinagdaraanan hindi lamang ng mga pasyente kundi pati ng kanilang mga mahal sa buhay.

Ang MBK ay hindi lamang para sa mga cancer warriors at survivors. Bukas din ito para sa kanilang mga pamilya, kaibigan, caregivers, at lahat ng mga cancer advocates na handang maging ilaw, lakas, at inspirasyon sa iba.

Tinipon din niya ang mga cancer warriors at survivors ng Brgy. Ugac Sur—isa sa mga barangay na may pinakamaraming naitalang kaso ng cancer. Maraming salamat, Sis Rem, sa iyong malasakit at dedikasyon.

Ang iyong pagmamalasakit at pagkilos ay patunay na hindi kailangang maging cancer survivor upang maging bahagi ng misyon ng pag-asa, paggaling, at pagbibigay-lakas sa kapwa.
