𝙄𝙣 𝙋𝙝𝙤𝙩𝙤𝙨 | RCYC Volunteers and BSN 2 Students Extend Care Through I-SAVED

Today, August 22, 2026, RCYC volunteers and BSN 2 students from the University of Saint Louis Tuguegarao participated in the 𝘐-𝘚𝘈𝘝𝘌𝘋: 𝘚𝘢𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘝𝘶𝘭𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘌𝘥𝘶𝘤𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘋𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘮𝘴 (𝘔𝘦𝘥𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘭 𝘔𝘪𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯) in Lanna, Solana, Cagayan.

During the medical mission, they assisted with patient assessments, helped provide vitamins and medicines from the Department of Health, distributed hygiene kits, and shared health information through educational pamphlets.

Through the medical mission, every volunteer’s hand became a hand of care—bringing comfort through service, hope through kindness, and healing through compassion.

𝙄𝙣 𝙋𝙝𝙤𝙩𝙤𝙨 | RCYC-USLT Volunteers Strengthen Community Safety Through Service and Emergency Support at Tugsayaw 2026

On August 15, 2026, the Red Cross Youth Council of the University of Saint Louis Tuguegarao (RCYC-USLT) volunteers provided service and emergency support during the Tugsayaw Street Dance Competition.

The Philippine Red Cross – Cagayan Chapter, together with the College Red Cross Youth Councils of Cagayan, the City Health Office of Tuguegarao, and the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO), supported the activity.

Representing RCYC-USLT were Cyliemae Divina, Frederick Joseph Tuliao, Gwyneth Gerardo, Andre Ordoño, and Rendell Justine Bruno.

Through this activity, RCYC-USLT continues to support humanitarian efforts by extending its service beyond the Louisian community and contributing to safer and more resilient communities.

The Red Cross Youth Council (RCYC) volunteers, Louisian Nursing Student Organization (LNSO), and SHAS Council of the University of Saint Louis Tuguegarao joined the 𝘐-𝘚𝘈𝘝𝘌𝘋: 𝘚𝘢𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘝𝘶𝘭𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘌𝘥𝘶𝘤𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘋𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘮𝘴 (𝘔𝘦𝘥𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘭 𝘔𝘪𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯) on August 15, 2026, at Nabbotuan, Solana, Cagayan.

In partnership with the Department of Health (DOH), LGU Solana, and the USLT-SHAS Department, the activity provided essential healthcare services and assistance to members of the community.

Through this collaborative effort, compassion, partnership, and service came together to provide care and support—always, in all ways.

𝙄𝙣 𝙋𝙝𝙤𝙩𝙤𝙨 | RCYC Volunteers Serve as On-Site First Aiders and Medics

The Red Cross Youth Council – University of Saint Louis Tuguegarao (RCYC-USLT) volunteers served as on-site first aiders and medics during the Debate Contest Proper held at SM City Tuguegarao on August 8, 2026.

Throughout the event, the volunteers remained on standby, ready to provide immediate first aid assistance and medical support to help ensure the safety and well-being of participants, organizers, and attendees.

Through preparedness, compassion, and service, the RCYC continues to uphold its commitment to being ready to respond whenever and wherever help is needed.

The Red Cross Youth Council – University of Saint Louis Tuguegarao (RCYC–USLT) participated in ANINAW 2026, a Financial Audit Program held on July 27, 2026, at the AVR, BCJ.

Representing the council were President Jeanne Eizel Agcon, Associate Secretary Lyka Shannen Farouk, and Business Manager Celedonio Marcus Juan, who joined fellow student leaders in the program.

Through opportunities like ANINAW 2026, RCYC–USLT continues to strengthen its commitment to ethical leadership, transparent governance, and accountable service to the Louisian community.

Observed every July through 𝘗𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘢𝘭 𝘗𝘳𝘰𝘤𝘭𝘢𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘕𝘰. 1021, this month reminds us of the constant need for safe and adequate blood and encourages more people to become regular blood donors.
