๐๐ฃ-๐ฅ๐๐ค๐ฉ๐ค๐จ | USLT Holds Successful Bloodletting Activity Led by Philippine Red Cross โ Cagayan Chapter
The Philippine Red Cross โ Cagayan Chapter spearheaded the successful conduct of the USLT Dugoyanihan 2026: Bloodletting Activity at NSL 1, University of Saint Louis Tuguegarao โ Lecaros Campus, bringing together students, volunteers, and partner organizations in a unified effort to promote life-saving blood donation.
The activity, in collaboration with the Red Cross Youth Council โ USLT, gathered numerous student-volunteers who responded to the call for voluntary blood donation as an act of service and compassion.
Partner organizations including the Louisian Nursing Student Organization, Louisian Medical Technology Student Organization, School of Health and Allied Sciences, and PAMET โ Cagayan Chapter also extended their support to ensure the smooth and successful implementation of the event.
Organizers emphasized that blood donation remains one of the most direct forms of humanitarian service, where a single donation can potentially save multiple lives. The activity also reinforced the importance of volunteerism, solidarity, and inter-organizational collaboration in strengthening public health efforts.
The initiative aligns with Sustainable
Development Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-Being) and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals), underscoring the role of youth and institutions in advancing community health advocacy.
