A Mass Blood Donation Activity was successfully conducted, at Barangay Bololmala in partnership with the BLGU Bololmala, South Cotabato Provincial Hospital Blood Bank and Tupi Rural Health Unit. The activity aimed to promote voluntary blood donation and help augment the blood supply for patients in need of immediate medical assistance and emergency care.
The activity was participated in by community members, volunteers, and local stakeholders who willingly extended their support to the humanitarian cause. Prior to the blood donation process, all potential donors underwent proper screening and health assessment conducted by the medical team to ensure donor safety and eligibility.
Through the collaborative efforts of the partner agencies and the active participation of the community, a total of thirty-five (35) successful blood donors were recorded during the activity. The conduct of the activity demonstrated the community’s commitment to saving lives through voluntary blood donation and strengthened the partnership between the local health sector and community stakeholders.
The organizers expressed their gratitude to all donors, volunteers, barangay officials, and partner agencies for their invaluable support and cooperation which contributed to the success of the activity. The continued conduct of blood donation activities is highly encouraged to sustain adequate blood supply and promote community awareness on the importance of blood donation.
