Most especially, we would like to express our sincere appreciation to all the parents and guardians who took the time to bring their children and entrusted them to receive their MRSIA vaccination. Your support and cooperation are truly valuable in protecting our children against measles and rubella. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦💉

THIS MESSAGE IS FOR EVERYONE WHO CHOOSES TO POST NEGATIVELY ABOUT VACCINES AND CURSE HEALTHCARE WORKERS.

We understand that not everyone will agree with vaccination. We respect every parent’s right to ask questions, express concerns, and make decisions for their children.

But disagreement does not give anyone the right to curse, insult, shame, or attack healthcare workers—especially on social media.

Before you type those hurtful words, remember the people behind the uniform.

We are the healthcare workers who prepare for these activities.
We are the ones who go into communities, under the heat and rain, to reach your families.
We are the ones who patiently explain, answer questions, and encourage parents to protect their children.

We are not your enemies.

We are simply doing the work we were trained and entrusted to do.

You may disagree with vaccines.
You may have questions.
You may choose not to have your child vaccinated.
We can accept your decision.

What we should not have to accept is being cursed, insulted, ridiculed, or publicly attacked simply because we are doing our job.

And please remember that social media is not a place where words have no consequences.

A post may take only seconds to write, but the person reading it is a real human being—with feelings, dignity, and a family who loves them.

You have the right to disagree.
You have the right to say NO.
But you do not have the right to disrespect another person.

If you have concerns about vaccines, ask.
If you disagree, speak respectfully.
If you have a complaint, raise it through the proper channels.

But please, do not use anger and profanity as a substitute for conversation.

To the healthcare workers who continue to serve despite the negativity:
Keep going. Keep serving. Keep caring. ❤️

Because we did not choose this profession to be praised by everyone.

Today marks a meaningful milestone as we successfully launched the Measles-Rubella Supplemental Immunization Activity (MRSIA) in Barangay Biabas, Ubay, Bohol. 💉❤️

This successful activity was made possible through the strong support of the Local Government Unit of Ubay and the Department of Health (DOH), and through the collaborative efforts of the Ubay Municipal Health Office, Ubay RHU 2, and Ubay RHU 3.

HEALTHY YOUNG ONES: Empowering the Youth Through Health Education

Today, we conducted another meaningful Healthy Young Ones session at Pedro O. Bernales National High School, located in Tubog, Ubay, Bohol, with the active participation of our Grade 9 and Grade 10 students.

The session aimed to provide our young learners with valuable knowledge and awareness about health, well-being, and making responsible choices during their teenage years. It was a meaningful opportunity to empower our youth to take better care of their physical, mental, and reproductive health.

Special thanks to our DOH-HRH Nurses and Midwives assigned in Ubay RHU II for sharing valuable knowledge, insights, and guidance with our young learners, and to the Tubog Barangay Council for their continued support and commitment to promoting the health and well-being of our youth.

Our sincere appreciation also goes to the school administration and teachers for their warm support and to all the Grade 9 and Grade 10 students for their active participation and enthusiasm throughout the session.

📍 Palihug tan-awa ang litrato alang sa kompletong iskedyul sa RHU 1, RHU 2, ug RHU 3.

Libre, luwas, ug epektibo ang bakuna. Magtinabangay kita aron mapanalipdan ang atong mga kabataan ug ang atong komunidad.

Himoang prayoridad ang pagpasuso:
👶 Exclusive breastfeeding lang sulod sa unang bulan.
🥣 Pag-abot sa ika-6 na bulan, sugdan na ang complementary breastfeeding samtang gapadayon sa pagpasuso hangtod sa 2 anyos o labaw pa.
🚫 Likayi ang formula milk ug uban pang mga puli sa breast milk.
