Today, we cared for one of our brave pediatric patients who came in with facial swelling caused by an infected baby tooth. Despite the discomfort and anxiety that can come with dental treatment, this little one showed incredible courage! 👏🦷

This case presented a unique challenge. Because of the metal component underneath the porcelain, achieving a perfect match and seamless blend with the patient’s existing natural teeth was more difficult. The patient was thoroughly informed beforehand about the possible limitations and minor imperfections in shade, translucency, and appearance.

Despite the technical challenge, we worked carefully to achieve a restoration that was functional, durable, comfortable, and aesthetically acceptable to the patient and most importantly, the patient was happy with the result. ❤️
