What changes when your patient is pregnant? 👀

In BLS, it’s not just about knowing the steps—it’s about knowing when to adapt. Special considerations, like positioning and effective compressions, play a crucial role in managing pregnant patients during emergencies. 🤰🏻

Cheers to the nurses and physicians from Zamboanga Peninsula Medical Center, Inc , Sulu Provincial Hospital, Ciudad Medical Zamboanga, Zamboanga Doctors' Hospital, Inc., and Zamboanga Animal Bite Center Savelifes who's fully locked in from start to finish. See you again soon! 💖

What do you do when your patient is bleeding during CPR? 🤔

In BLS, high-quality CPR remains the priority—but life-threatening bleeding must be controlled at the first. Apply direct pressure to the bleeding site, use available dressings or cloth, and if possible, have another rescuer manage the bleeding.

Shoutout to our participants from Ciudad Medical Zamboanga, Universidad de Zamboanga, and Universal College Foundation of Southeast Asia and the Pacific Inc. who stayed focused throughout the training 🤙🥰

Skills checked, timing practiced, teamwork tested. 👀

BLS and ACLS training was successfully conducted at Juan S. Alano-Macfi., where participants underwent structured sessions focused on high-quality CPR, emergency cardiovascular care, rhythm recognition, and team-based resuscitation management. ❤🩸

Congratulations to all participants for successfully completing the training. 🥳🎉

Sometimes the most life-saving move is saying, “Stop.” ❌

In resuscitation, that doesn’t mean shutting the team down—it means stepping in at the right moment to keep everything on track. Constructive interventions are about catching errors early, redirecting actions, and making sure every step stays aligned with what the patient actually needs.

Congratulations to our participants from Universidad de Zamboanga, Zamboanga Peninsula Medical Center, Inc, and Zamboanga City Medical Center. 👏

IV fluids are easy. Deciding when, why, and how much—that’s ACLS. 🤓

Because in real cardiac emergencies, fluid management isn’t just a routine step—it’s tied to perfusion, rhythm, blood pressure trends, and the bigger picture you’re constantly reassessing while everything is moving fast. Too little and you miss the window, too much and you shift the problem somewhere else.

What made this even better was seeing participants from Zamboanga Doctors' Hospital, Inc., Zamboanga Peninsula Medical Center, Inc, and Universidad de Zamboanga truly understand that it all ties back to perfusion and how every decision connects to circulation and patient stability in real time. Well done! 🥳

“Someone help!”… but what if no one hears you? 😨

Choking doesn’t always come with sound. If you’re alone, go where people can see you—signal, get attention, and don’t waste time.

Congratulations to our participants from Western Mindanao State University , Brent Hospital and Colleges Inc., Labuan General Hospital, Universidad de Zamboanga, Manila Doctors Hospital, Zamboanga Peninsula Medical Center, Inc and Zamboanga Doctors' Hospital, Inc.! 🎉

Post-arrest patients don’t “settle down” right away.

ROSC is just the start—what follows is close monitoring of rhythm changes, blood pressure instability, oxygenation, and the risk of re-arrest. In ACLS, post–cardiac arrest care is where vigilance really kicks in.

Shoutout to all participants from Universidad de Zamboanga, Premier Medical Center Zamboanga, Zamboanga City Medical Center, and Zamboanga Peninsula Medical Center, Inc who worked through these scenarios during training—Well done! 👏

What if help is already on the wall?

AEDs are designed to be simple, portable, and ready for anyone to use—but they don’t always look the way people expect. Because of that, they’re often overlooked even when they’re right in front of you. Question is, do you know how to utilize it?

Congratulations to our participants from Universidad de Zamboanga , SCC Cares, Sulu State University , Notre Dame of Jolo College , Premier Medical Center Zamboanga , and Peninsula Medical Center, Inc 👏

Always assess before contact.

Because as a rescuer, you could be walking into live wires, traffic, sharp objects, or even bodily fluids—risks that can take you out before you even begin care. That’s why the first real decision isn’t compressions—it’s scene safety.

Congratulations to our trainees from Zamboanga City Medical Center, Brent Hospital and Colleges Inc., Western Mindanao State University, Mahardika Institute of Technology, Inc., and Zamboanga Dialysis Center!👏
