Dengue Awareness Starts with Education! ✨️

Today, the JHS Infirmary conducted room-to-room visits in some classes during the homeroom period to educate our students about Dengue Fever—its signs and symptoms, preventive measures, and the important role each of us plays in protecting ourselves, our school, and our community.

To reinforce these lessons, every class was provided with a Dengue Awareness Brochure to be posted on their classroom bulletin boards, allowing students to review the information anytime during their free time.

We apologize that we were unable to visit every classroom during today's awareness campaign due to time constraints. Rest assured that each class will still receive a Dengue Awareness Brochure for their classroom bulletin board so that all students can access this important information.

Together, let us stay informed, eliminate mosquito breeding sites, and keep our school a safe and healthy place for everyone. Prevention starts with each one of us!

📢 INFIRMARY ANNOUNCEMENT 📢

Starting tomorrow, after the scheduled Medical and Dental Check-Up of the Grade 10 students, all Infirmary operations will temporarily be transferred to the 4th Floor Infirmary/OPD Satellite Office to give way for the repainting of the Ground Floor Infirmary.

All students who need to visit the Infirmary should proceed directly to the 4th Floor Infirmary Satellite Office, as no personnel will be stationed at the Ground Floor Infirmary during this period.

Due to the strong odor of fresh paint, we believe it is necessary to relocate our operations rather than risk compromising the health and safety of our students, especially those with respiratory conditions such as asthma.

Please note that no beds will be transferred to the satellite office. However, students who need to rest may do so on the available reclining chairs.

We will also be unable to accommodate MAPEH classes scheduled for Stress Tests from June 26 until July 1 or 2, depending on the completion of the repainting. During this period, only student-athletes undergoing tryouts will be accommodated for medical clearance during dismissal hours.

For stress tests of athletes, the Infirmary team will temporarily set up near the Ground Floor Infirmary lobby to avoid requiring students to proceed to the 4th Floor.

We sincerely apologize for the sudden inconvenience this may cause. However, it is necessary to complete the remaining repairs and repainting of the Infirmary as soon as possible.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work to improve our facilities while ensuring the health, safety, and comfort of our students and personnel. Thank you.

As dengue cases continue to increase, we must remain vigilant in protecting ourselves, our families, and our community.

By maintaining clean surroundings, eliminating stagnant water, and taking measures to prevent mosquito bites, we can help stop the spread of dengue and keep everyone safe.
