The Philippine Red Cross Zamboanga City Chapter Safety Services successfully conducted a First Aid and Basic Life Support (BLS) Training for the personnel of Biolactics Merchandising Incorporated, together with Mrs. Mylene Baidiango MAAB representative.

The activity aimed to enhance the participants’ knowledge and skills in providing immediate and proper care during emergencies. Through hands-on learning and practical demonstrations, participants were empowered to become ready and capable responders in times when every second counts.

Saving Lives Through Partnership ❤️‍🩹🚑

Philippine Red Cross Zamboanga City Chapter, together with the Office of Councilor District 2 Junnie Navarro, with the support of the Rotary Club, spearheaded the AED distribution in Brgy. Tigtabon.

Philippine Red Cross Zamboanga City Chapter Safety Services facilitate the training of AED. This initiative is a testament to the power of collaboration in promoting community preparedness and strengthening access to life-saving equipment. The presence of an AED in the community can make a vital difference during sudden cardiac emergencies, where every second counts.

We congratulate Councilor Junnie Navarro for initiating this heroic project and for his unwavering commitment to promoting a safer and more prepared community. Together with the Philippine Red Cross Zamboanga City Chapter Safety Services, this AED distribution in Brgy. Tigtabon is a significant step toward strengthening emergency preparedness and ensuring that life-saving equipment is readily available when it matters most.

CPR Caravan 2026 🫶🏻

The Philippine Red Cross – Zamboanga City Chapter brings the spirit of lifesaving to Zamboanga City National High School West through the CPR Caravan 2026!

Students and Teachers were given the opportunity to learn and practice essential CPR skills, preparing them to respond confidently and effectively during life-threatening emergencies.

Through education, practice, and teamwork, we are creating more individuals who are ready to respond, ready to help, and ready to save lives.

A big thank you to the school administration, faculty, students, volunteers, and facilitators for making this activity meaningful and successful! ❤️

The Philippine Red Cross – Zamboanga City Chapter is pleased to announce that its ambulance services are now fully operational, following the issuance of the License to Operate (LTO) by the Department of Health (DOH).

With the completion of the necessary regulatory requirements and compliance with DOH standards, the Chapter’s two ambulances are now ready to support emergency medical response and transport operations, further strengthening our capacity to provide timely and quality humanitarian services to communities in need.

This milestone reflects the Philippine Red Cross’ continued commitment to quality, safety, preparedness, and responsive emergency medical services.

As we continue to serve with compassion and professionalism, we remain committed to our mission of alleviating human suffering and protecting lives and dignity.

The 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 is a recognized training provider for 𝗘𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘀 (𝗘𝗠𝗧) by the Republic of the 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 (𝗗𝗢𝗛). For decades we have produced both locally and internationally employed EMTs who instill in their hearts the value of life saving and humanitarian service.

The primary focus of the 𝗘𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗻 is to provide basic emergency medical care and transportation for critical and emergent patients who access the emergency medical system. One of the eligibility requirements for licensure at this level requires successful completion of an accredited 𝗘𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲.

𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 - 𝗭𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗼𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗿 will be conducting its 𝗘𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗻 “𝗘𝗠𝗧 - 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗲 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵 59” - 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺. The program is recognized by the Department of Health and aligned with the 𝗧𝗘𝗦𝗗𝗔- 𝗘𝗠𝗦 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗟𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹 3 (𝗡𝗖 𝗜𝗜𝗜).

✔️ EMT Type A and B Uniform, Tactical Pants and Belt, Safety Shoe’s.
✔️ AAOS 12th Edition book (Licensed)
✔️Graduation fee expenses for 2 Hotel.
✔️Training: Class Venue - Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) and Safety Institute (S.I)

Safety Institute - 1 Month
12 days - BLS ITC and EMR
6 days - Water Safety (Pool Life Guard - Certificated)
🔸4 Days Swimming Pool

5 days - Rope Rescue Technician Course (Certificated)
7 days Jungle - Search , Rescue and Survival

🔸30 Days - Didactics (24Days Stay-in sa EMT room)
🔸1,500 Hours or equivalent to 63 days rotation - Ride A-Long/Pre-Hospital and ambulance exposure
🔸Duty: 7 days stay-in, 2x/Month

With Average Medical and Trauma Emergency Services response of 6 runs/Daily.
Qualifications:
✔️Must be at least Senior High School Graduate
✔️Physical Examination as follows:
2.1. Can lift weight at least 25 kilograms.
2.2. Has no heart and respiratory problem.
2.3. Can stand activities that require excessive body
movement.
2.4. Not on the “Family way” (Female only).
