What started as an idea is slowly becoming a growing community. Today, we had our first meeting with our interested Minhaj Thread resellers, and our hearts are filled with gratitude.

Jazākumullāhu Khayran to everyone who came, listened, asked questions, and showed interest in growing with us. Your presence and support mean so much as we begin this new journey together.

Minhaj Thread is more than selling hijabs. We hope to build a community where sisters can earn with dignity, grow together, and be part of a business with purpose.

𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐑𝐘 𝐁𝐄𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐃 𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐅𝐈𝐑𝐒𝐓 𝐒𝐈𝐆𝐍𝐀𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄 𝐂𝐎𝐋𝐎𝐑𝐒 💞

Sometimes a story begins so quietly that you do not realize it is already becoming something bigger.

𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐬 𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐧 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦 𝐡𝐢𝐣𝐚𝐛𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐡𝐚𝐣 𝐌𝐮𝐬𝐥𝐢𝐦 𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫.

That was the whole plan.

There was no intention to sell them to the public.
No plan to create a collection.
No plan to build a brand.

The initial amount came from the donations entrusted to Minhaj Center, and at first, I only wanted to use it for something our students needed.

But while holding that responsibility, one thought kept coming back to me:

What if the goodness of the donors could continue beyond one purchase?

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐰?

What if the same amount that was meant to provide uniforms could become the beginning of something that would continue supporting the Center, its students, its programs, and more people in the future?

That thought stayed in my heart.

I did not want the goodness behind their donations to stop after one use. I wanted it to keep moving, keep helping, keep reaching.

𝐀𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐮𝐛ḥ𝐚̄𝐧𝐀𝐥𝐥𝐚̄𝐡, 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐬𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐡𝐚𝐣 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐬𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐥𝐲 𝐛𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐧.

That is why these colors will never feel ordinary to me.

When I look at them, I do not only see fabric.

I see the trust of our donors.
I see our students wearing their uniforms.
I see the early days of Minhaj.
I see an amount given with sincerity becoming the seed of something I never planned.

And sometimes, that thought brings tears to my eyes.

𝐁𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐈 𝐡𝐚𝐝 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐬.

I did not know that Allāh would place another door behind that plan.

I did not know those same colors would one day become our 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐒𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧.

I did not know that something meant for a few students could become a way for goodness to reach many more people.

But Allāh knew.

And that is the most beautiful part of this story.

We only see the beginning. Allāh already knows where it can lead.

My hope is that every person who gave to Minhaj will receive a share of the reward in every good that comes from this beginning, in shā’ Allāh.

Because Minhaj Thread did not begin simply as a business.

It began with amanah, generosity, students, and a sincere hope to make goodness continue.

From a simple uniform hijab…
to something we now pray will carry benefit far beyond what we first imagined.
