﷽
Assalāmu’alaykum wa rahmatullāh wa barakātuh.
It is with great sadness that we bid farewell to the blessed month of Ramadān, as its final days slip away from us.
In these remaining days, I will be offering free online consultations. For senior citizens, online consultations will remain FREE FOR LIFE, bi idhnillāh. Alhamdulillāh.
Let us strive for a final surge of sincere and righteous actions before Ramadān departs. In shā Allāh.
The Prophet ﷺ said:
“Every (good) deed of the son of Ādam is multiplied—a good deed receiving tenfold up to seven hundredfold. Allāh, the Exalted, said: ‘Except for fasting, for it is done for Me and I will reward it. He abandons his desires and food for My sake.’ The fasting person has two moments of joy: one when he breaks his fast and one when he meets his Lord. And the breath of the fasting person is more beloved to Allāh than the fragrance of musk.”
— sahīh Muslim (1151)
——
This small effort is likewise dedicated to my beloved grandmother, who reached the age of 94 and returned to Allāh last Friday, March 13, 2025, at around 4:30 AM.
“Indeed, we belong to Allāh, and indeed to Him we will return.”
— Al-Baqarah 2:156
Alhamdulillāh—passing in this sacred month, on a Friday, on the 23rd (an odd night) of Ramadān, and after a long life, somehow brings an ease to our hearts. It reminds us of the vast mercy of Allāh and a sign that we hope indicates a beautiful ending (husn al-khātimah).
The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said:
“When Allāh intends good for someone, He grants him a good end.”
— Narrated in Musnad Aḥmad and Sunan al-Tirmidhī (Sahīh)
He ﷺ also said regarding death on Friday:
“There is no Muslim who dies on the day of Friday or the night of Friday except that Allāh protects him from the trial of the grave.”
— Reported in Sunan al-Tirmidhī (hasan)
We ask Allāh to make her passing among those granted husn al-khātimah.
I humbly ask everyone who comes across this post to make du‘ā for her, as well as for all of my loved ones who have preceded us and returned to Allāh.
“Our Lord, forgive us and our brothers who preceded us in faith.”
— al-Hashr 59:10
Bi idhnillāh, may Allāh grant her/them Jannah, expand and illuminate her/their graves, forgive her/their sins, and envelop her/them in His mercy. Āmīyn.
The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said:
“When a person dies, all their deeds come to an end except for three: ongoing charity, beneficial knowledge, or a righteous child who prays for them.”
— sahīh Muslim
⸻
“O Allāh, forgive her, raise her rank among the guided, grant her a successor among those she left behind, forgive us and her, O Lord of the worlds, expand her grave and illuminate it.”
—
May Allāh grant all of our loved ones forgiveness, mercy, and the highest ranks in Jannah.
Āmīyn. 🤲🏻
