❤️ Successfully Conducted | World Hypertension Day 2026 ❤️

The World Hypertension Day 2026 Seminar & Awareness Session was successfully held under the supervision of Dr. Muhammad Usman Cheema, Chief Medical Officer IUB, and Mr. Farhan Mukhtar, Principal Nursing College. The IUB Anti-Narcotics & Healthcare Society, under the leadership of Muhammad Adnan (President, IUB Anti-Narcotics & Healthcare Society), in collaboration with the Medical & Health Division, organized the seminar and awareness walk under the theme “Controlling Hypertension Together.” 🩺✨

The purpose of the event was to spread awareness regarding hypertension, its prevention, early diagnosis, and the importance of adopting a healthy lifestyle for a healthier society. The seminar featured informative health education sessions and an awareness walk to encourage the community towards regular blood pressure monitoring and healthy living.

The event was honored by the presence of Prof. Dr. Qaiser Jabeen as Guest of Honor, Dr. Shahadat Hussain Chaudhary as Guest Speaker, Dr. Muhammad Aurangzaib as Guest of Honor, and Dr. Maleeha Ejaz as Speaker.

Special thanks to Mr. Khalil Bhutta for sponsorship support and sincere appreciation to Dr. Waheed Abbasi for his great contribution and continuous support in making this event a remarkable success. Gratitude is also extended to Dr. Saba Tahir for serving as Master of Ceremony.

A productive meeting session was conducted between the IUB Anti-Narcotics & Health Care Society and the Medical & Health Division, IUB, along with our respected Co-Advisor Dr. Usman Cheema regarding the upcoming seminar on World Hypertension Day.

The meeting was led by Muhammad Adnan , President of the IUB Anti-Narcotics & Health Care Society, alongside the society's team to discuss and finalize all key arrangements for the seminar.

During the meeting, all important matters related to the seminar were thoroughly discussed and finalized to ensure the successful ex*****on of this awareness initiative. All the preparations and planning were carried out accordingly by our dedicated team with great commitment and teamwork.

We look forward to spreading awareness about hypertension and promoting a healthier community through this collaborative effort. 💙

The IUB Anti-Narcotics & Healthcare Society, in collaboration with the Medical & Health Division , proudly presents World Hypertension Day 2026 — a meaningful initiative dedicated to spreading awareness about hypertension and promoting a healthier society. ❤️🩺

Hypertension, often known as the “silent killer,” affects millions of people worldwide, yet many remain unaware of its dangers and long-term complications. Through this Seminar & Awareness Walk, we aim to educate students and the community about the importance of regular blood pressure monitoring, healthy lifestyle choices, proper diet, physical activity, stress management, and preventive healthcare practices.

This event reflects our collective commitment towards community health awareness and social responsibility. The seminar will provide an informative platform to discuss the causes, risks, prevention, and management of hypertension, while the awareness walk will symbolize unity in the fight against cardiovascular diseases and unhealthy lifestyles.

All arrangements and preparations for this awareness initiative have been carried out with dedication and teamwork by our organizing members to ensure a successful and impactful event. We warmly invite students, faculty members, and all participants to join us in this important cause and contribute towards building a healthier and more informed community.
