A two-day training session focusing on maternal nutrition was successfully conducted in Bahawalpur on the 8th and 9th of January, organized by NourishMaa Campaign Nutrition International. The training, led by 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗼𝗼𝗿 𝗔𝗵𝗺𝗲𝗱 𝘀𝗼𝗼𝗺𝗿𝗼(Medical MarketingSpecialists), was a Continuing Medical Education (CME) initiative that provided healthcare professionals with in-depth knowledge about the criticality of maternal nutrition. It specifically addressed the nutritional needs of adolescents, pregnant women, and lactating mothers. During the session, 𝗗𝗿 𝗞𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗱 𝗠𝗲𝗵𝗺𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗔𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻(DC IRMNCH) emphasized the significance of maternal nutrition in these key stages of a woman's life. Participants were also briefed on the findings of the National Nutrition Survey and were provided insights into the Pakistan National Nutrition Strategy, underlining its objectives and implementation in promoting better health outcomes.

We are thrilled to announce that Fareeha Habib is currently working as District Nutrition Officer at Nutrition International in Bahawalpur. Tasked with implementing vital maternal nutrition campaign activities, Fareeha works closely with medical specialists and district health offices, ensuring the successful ex*****on of project plans. She completed her Doctor of Dietitics and Nutrition Sciences from Superior University in 2020.

Her contributions are multifaceted, from spearheading targeted media outreach to conducting one-on-one sessions with healthcare providers, aiming to enhance their knowledge in maternal nutrition counseling. Fareeha's proactive approach extends to sensitizing professionals on diverse nutrition issues, reflecting her commitment to empowering and educating frontline caregivers. Her tireless efforts serve as a shining example of Superior University's alumni impact, inspiring others to leverage their expertise for meaningful societal change.

A seminar was organised on maternal nutrition at Royal mark hotel Bahawalpur on August 16,2023.This seminar was focused on Frontline Health Workers.
A Total number of 34 LHVs from different Basic Health Units and RHCs participated in the seminar.
Dr Sadaf un Nissa, consultant gynaecologist and senior registrar,Bahawalpur Victoria Hospital facilitated the seminar.
Dn Maria shoukat, informed the participants about the baseline and marketing survey and provided the information regarding the campaign channels.Mr Mansoor Soomro, showed the MN jingle as well as the page to participants.He encouraged the participants to like the page then and there.
