University College of Conventional Medicine, Faculty of Medicine & Allied Health Sciences, IUB successfully organized a remarkable seminar titled “Eastern Medicine in the Modern Era: Innovation, Integration and Global Scope.”
The session featured an insightful keynote by Dr. Tanveer Ali, PhD in Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine from Dalian Medical University, China, who elaborated on the practical integration of Traditional Chinese Medicine with Western medical practices.
Esteemed speakers including M. Asad Ghafoor (Northwest A&F University, China) and Sehrish Rana (Shandong Normal University, China) shared valuable insights on global scope, research collaborations, and emerging trends in Eastern Medicine.
Hafiz Muhammad Asif, Principal UCCM, highlighted the importance of innovation and integration in Eastern medicine, while Fiaz-ud-Din emphasized the significance of academic collaboration and international exposure.
The seminar concluded with a vote of thanks by Tahira Shamim, followed by the presentation of shields and souvenirs to the respected guest speakers and organizers. The event was successfully conducted and proved to be a significant step toward strengthening international collaboration and integrating Eastern medicine into modern healthcare systems.
