Students of University Medical & Dental College (UMDC) actively participated in the FMU CORE International Research Conference at FMU-Official Faisalabad Medical University, showcasing their research through poster presentations, oral research presentations, and a research quiz competition.
The international conference provided students with a valuable platform to present their research, exchange ideas, enhance their academic exposure, and engage with researchers and faculty members from diverse academic backgrounds.
The UMDC delegation was honoured by the presence of Dr. Shirza, Vice Principal, UMDC, who attended the conference as a distinguished guest and extended her support and encouragement to the participating students.
Adding to the strong academic representation of UMDC, Dr. Komal Atta, Director DME, UMDC, participated as a judge for the Oral Research Presentation, contributing her expertise to the evaluation of student research. Dr. Fizza and Dr. Sheharbano, Demonstrators at DME, UMDC, also participated in the conference, further representing and supporting the institution’s growing research culture.
A proud moment for UMDC came when Maleeha Akbar, 4th Year MBBS, received the Best Ambassador Award at the conference, bringing recognition to the institution and celebrating her dedication, active participation, and representation of UMDC at the international academic platform.
The active participation and achievements of UMDC students and faculty at an international research platform reflect the institution’s commitment to fostering research, innovation, academic excellence, and meaningful student–faculty collaboration, while providing students with opportunities to learn, present, compete, and excel at broader academic forums.
