but rarely taught how to take care of themselves.

We grow up skipping meals for family, hiding stress behind smiles, surviving on chai instead of proper nutrition, and calling exhaustion “normal.”

As a Dietitian, I don’t just talk about weight.
I listen to untold stories.
PCOS. Hair fall. Low energy. Emotional eating. Hormonal imbalance. Anemia. Body shaming.
And girls silently blaming themselves for all of it.

Your health is not “extra.”

Pakistan mein problem sirf diet nahi hai —
❌ Late night chai + biscuits routine
❌ Iron deficiency (especially in girls)
❌ Digestive issues due to oily, spicy foods

🌙 رمضان میں غذا کے ذریعے جسم کو کیسے ری سیٹ کریں

1️⃣ سحری میں لسی یا دہی
سحری میں لسی یا سادہ دہی پینے سے معدہ ٹھنڈا رہتا ہے، تیزابیت کم ہوتی ہے اور دن بھر پیاس کم لگتی ہے۔

2️⃣ پروٹین کو سحری کا لازمی حصہ بنائیں
انڈا، دال یا دہی شامل کرنے سے بھوک دیر سے لگتی ہے اور پٹھے کمزور نہیں ہوتے۔

3️⃣ فائبر والی غذائیں کھائیں
اوٹس، سبزیاں اور ہول ویٹ روٹی ہاضمہ درست رکھتی ہیں اور قبض سے بچاتی ہیں۔

4️⃣ سحری میں نمک اور مصالحہ کم رکھیں
زیادہ نمک پیاس بڑھاتا ہے اور جسم میں پانی کا توازن خراب کرتا ہے۔

5️⃣ افطار پانی اور کھجور سے کریں
یہ سنت بھی ہے اور جسم کے لیے بہترین آغاز بھی، بلڈ شوگر اچانک نہیں بڑھتی۔

6️⃣ افطار میں سوپ یا پھل شامل کریں
سوپ معدے کو نرم آغاز دیتا ہے اور پھل فوری توانائی فراہم کرتے ہیں۔

7️⃣ تلی ہوئی اشیاء محدود رکھیں
پکوڑے اور سموسے روزانہ کھانے سے سوزش، گیس اور وزن بڑھتا ہے۔

8️⃣ افطار کے بعد پروٹین والی غذا کھائیں
چکن، مچھلی، دال یا چنا جسم کی مرمت اور توانائی بحال کرنے میں مدد دیتے ہیں۔

9️⃣ پانی وقفے وقفے سے پئیں
افطار سے سونے تک آہستہ آہستہ پانی پینا جسم کو ڈی ہائیڈریشن سے بچاتا ہے۔

🔟 چینی اور کولڈ ڈرنکس سے پرہیز کریں
یہ وقتی توانائی دیتی ہیں مگر بعد میں شدید تھکن اور شوگر اسپائکس کا سبب بنتی ہیں۔

1️⃣1️⃣ سادہ اور گھریلو کھانے اپنائیں
رمضان کا اصل فائدہ تب ملتا ہے جب غذا صاف، سادہ اور متوازن ہو۔
