Another robbery incident has been reported in Jamshoro.

Within the jurisdiction of A-Section Police Station, near the bridge, three LUMHS students — Nadir Ali Mughal, Abdullah Ashfaq Dahri, and Imad Shabbir Khanzada — were reportedly robbed at gunpoint.

According to the report, when the students raised an alarm, one of the robbers struck Abdullah Ashfaq Dahri with the butt of a pistol, causing injuries, before fleeing the scene.

Local residents have expressed concerns about the security situation and alleged that police attention has been focused elsewhere, while students and other citizens remain vulnerable to street crime.

Researchers investigating a boat-shaped formation in eastern Türkiye have renewed claims of a link to Prophet Nuh’s Ark after radar scans reportedly detected underground lines and cavities. The Durupınar Formation lies around 30 kilometres south of Mount Ararat. Andrew Jones of Noah’s Ark Scans says the findings “100 percent confirmed” a man-made object, but neither that claim nor the structure’s identity has been scientifically established. No wooden ship has been uncovered or recovered material scientifically dated to around 4,300 years ago.

The team has collected around 1,000 soil samples from approximately 150 locations and begun core drilling.

Subject: LUMHS Jamshoro Hostels Me Light, WiFi Aur Peenay Ke Pani Ka Shadeed Bohran - Aala Hukaam Se Appeal

Assalam-o-Alaikum,

Meri is post ka maqsad LUMHS University Jamshoro ke hostels ke aik shadeed maslay ki taraf tawajju dilana hai.

Jaisa ke aap sab jante hain, LUMHS ke hostels me pechle 4 saal se bijli 24 hours available thi, weekend par bhi light nahi jati thi. Lekin is saal 2026 ke shuru se rozana ki buniyad par bina kisi wajah, bina barish aur bina kisi technical fault ke bijli band kardi jati hai.

Din ho ya raat, classes ke din hon ya weekend, weekend par to pura din light band rehti hai. Jab light aati hai to WiFi jo 24 hours dena chahiye, usay disconnect kar diya jata hai. 2026 me shayad hi koi din aisa guzra ho jis din WiFi disconnect na kiya gaya ho.

Iske ilawa hostels mein peenay ke pani ki bhi koi proper facility nahi hai. Water coolers aksar kharab hain. Har hostel mein sirf aik filter water cooler lagaya gaya hai, jabke baqi wings mein water coolers chalte hi nahi. Is wajah se students ko majbooran unhygienic pani peena padta hai, jo sirf maintenance aur management ki na-ahli ki wajah se hai.

Aap khud andaza laga sakte hain ke is shadeed garmi me jo students apne ghar chor kar parhai ke liye hostels me reh rahe hain, unka kya haal hoga. Na light ki saholat hai, na WiFi ki aur na hi saaf peenay ke pani ki.

Agar raat ko light nahi hogi to students ki neend kaise puri hogi? Aur bina neend ke wo subah classes aur wards kaise lenge? Yeh seedha seedha students par zehni aur jismani tashaddud (mentally & physically torture) hai. Bina neend aur is garmi me bhala kaun parh payega?

Hum LUMHS Administration, VC Sahab aur Aala Idaron se purzor appeal karte hain ke is maslay ko fori tor par hal kiya jaye, taake students sukoon se hostel me reh kar achi tarah se parhai kar saken.

Agar is maslay ko hal na kiya gaya to majboran hamare pas protest ke ilawa koi dusra option nahi rahega.
