Evening Review Meeting (Catch-Up Day) – SNIDs May 2026

A review meeting was held under the chair of DC Jamshoro Mr. Ghazanfar Ali Qadri and co-chaired by DHO Dr. Pir Manzoor Ahmed, with participation of all concerned officers and partners.

Campaign progress, missed children, and field coverage were reviewed. Focus was given to improving performance and ensuring no child is left behind.

Chair appreciated all teams and expressed satisfaction over overall progress of the campaign.

Evening Review Meeting chaired by Deputy Commissioner Jamshoro, Mr. Ghazanfar Ali Qadri, and co-chaired by DHO Jamshoro, Dr. Pir Manzoor Ahmed.

Detailed review of field performance, missed children coverage, same-day coverage, MMP coverage, and refusal conversion activities was conducted with all stakeholders.

Chair appreciated the dedication of frontline workers and emphasized ensuring that no child is missed in the campaign.

Deputy Commissioner Jamshoro, Mr. Ghazanfar Ali Qadri, visited UC AB Shoro to monitor polio teams and AICs in the field. Finger marking status and team performance were found satisfactory.

Chair appreciated the efforts of frontline workers and emphasized ensuring 100% vaccination coverage of all eligible children.

Deputy Commissioner Jamshoro, Mr. Ghazanfar Ali Qadri, along with DHO Jamshoro Dr. Pir Manzoor Ahmed and team, visited DHQ Hospital Kotri to review healthcare facilities and service delivery.

All departments were inspected, patients’ concerns were heard, and on-spot instructions were issued for resolution of issues.

The visiting team appreciated doctors and staff for their services and emphasized improving quality patient care.

During the morning orientation, frontline workers raised concerns regarding facilities at the Team Support Center, including water, washrooms, space, and furniture.

Deputy Commissioner Jamshoro, Mr. Ghazanfar Ali Qadri, along with DHO Jamshoro Dr. Pir Manzoor Ahmed and team, visited the center and issued immediate instructions to improve cleanliness, ensure functional washrooms, provide cold drinking water, and arrange proper furniture.

Frontline workers were acknowledged as the backbone of the Polio Program for their dedicated services in challenging conditions.

Following the morning orientation, Deputy Commissioner Jamshoro, Mr. Ghazanfar Ali Qadri, distributed water flasks, umbrellas, and ORS sachets among field teams to ensure protection during the ongoing heatwave.

Morning Deployment & Orientation – SNID May 2026 (Day-2) was held at DHQ Kotri under the chair of Worthy Deputy Commissioner Jamshoro.

Teams were briefed on previous campaign gaps and emphasized on IPC improvement, Cold Chain maintenance, and Heatwave safety measures.

All field teams were motivated to ensure quality implementation and maximum coverage of eligible children.

Morning Briefing – SNIDs May 2026, Day-1

Venue: DHQ Kotri

Morning briefing for the teams of UCs Nango Line, Kotri, and HM Shoro was conducted by Assistant Commissioner Kotri, along with the CCO Jamshoro and UCMOs.

All teams were deployed on time and motivated for quality field performance and community sensitization.

Key focus areas included:
• Proper IPC implementation
• Identification of guests, newborns, sick and NA children
• Proper vaccine administration & cold chain management
• Active supervisory role of AICs
• Same-day coverage and proper recording of missed children
