Myth or Fact?
When you touch your face, you transfer the bacteria, oil, and dirt from your hands onto your skin. This can lead to the development of acne, especially if you already have oily or acne-prone skin. Touching your face can also cause friction and pressure, which can irritate the skin and trigger acne breakouts.
To prevent acne caused by touching your face, try to avoid touching your face as much as possible. If you must touch your face, make sure to wash your hands first. Additionally, avoid resting your face on your hands or other objects, such as your phone or pillowcase, as these can also transfer bacteria and oil onto your skin.
