• Drink plenty of water — keep yourself hydrated
• Avoid sugary drinks — they dehydrate more
• Use ORS if there are signs of dehydration due to excessive sweating

Watermelon, aam panna, imli, sattu, lemon pani, falsa — add a pinch of black salt and gur for better effect
Sugarcane juice with lemon is a great, affordable instant cooler during hot days

• Avoid spicy, oily food
• Include yogurt in your diet
• Eat light — heavy food increases body heat
