NIBD National Institute of Blood Disease & Bone Marrow Transplantation — A network of Nationwide centers for blood cancers, disorders, and bone marrow transplants.

Founded by Prof. Dr. Tahir Sultan Shamsi (late). Currently N.I.B.D is offering early detection services for genetic and inherited disorders in the department of Clinical genetics and genomics. State of the art pediatric hematology facilities, adult hematology, obstetric and gynecological hematology and Bone Marrow Transplantation unit are also available. N.I.B.D have vast experience of detecting a

nd treating blood and genetic disorders. We have treated over 40,000 such patients. Our main focus has been to provide counseling for patients suffering from Thalassaemia, Haemophilia, Leukaemia, Aplastic Anaemia, Lymphoma, etc. N.I.B.D is catering patients from all regions of Pakistan and also patients coming from Iran, Afghanistan and Gulf countries.
