Wrapping up an incredible experience at AOCR SGCR-WIRES 2026 in Singapore! 🇸🇬
​It was a fantastic few days filled with groundbreaking insights into clinical radiology, cutting-edge interventional procedures, and the expanding role of AI in medical imaging.
​Beyond the exceptional scientific sessions, the best part was connecting (and reconnecting!) with so many talented colleagues and leaders from around the world. I also met with prior colleagues and seniors at my previous hospital in Singapore.
Leaving Singapore inspired, energized, and ready to bring these practical insights back.

Patient known case of Metastatic adenocarcinoma of lung presents Superior Vena Cava obstruction. Patient has facial and neck swelling with shortness of breath. Self expanding uncovered metallic stent insertion was successfully performed in SVC to relieve symptoms.

Performed Transarterial Chemoembolization through radial artery to treat the liver HCC.

TRANSRADIAL TACE:

The transradial approach, which utilizes the radial artery in the wrist instead of the femoral artery in the groin, offers several important clinical benefits, including:

Reduced risk of access-site bleeding and vascular complications.

Enhanced patient comfort with earlier post-procedure mobility.

Shorter recovery period

Improved patient experience by minimizing the need for prolonged bed rest.

Particular advantages for patients with an increased risk of bleeding complications.

Alhamdulillah, with a heart full of gratitude, I have performed Hajj 2026. 🕋🤲
Standing before the House of Allah, making du'a in the blessed places, and sharing this journey with millions of believers has been a deeply humbling and life-changing experience. Words cannot fully describe the peace, mercy, and emotions I felt throughout this sacred pilgrimage.
I pray that Allah accepts my Hajj, forgives my sins, and keeps me steadfast on the right path. May He grant every Muslim the opportunity to experience this beautiful journey and accept it from them. Ameen.

4th Lahore interventional Radiology Club meeting was done in which interventional radiologist working in different hospitals of Lahore participated. Important cases were presented in the meeting. Interventional radiologist from Multan( Ibtessam and Asim) travelled to Lahore to attent the meeting.
Nice gathering to discuss updates regarding interventional radiology.

Unfortunately, DJ stent broke during regular 6 monthly exchange and migrated upwards. Urology team was unable to retrieve the broken DJ stent. Subsequently, renal puncture done and sheath inserted. Retrieval of broken DJ stent performed successfully.
