I am deeply honoured by the trust placed in me and sincerely grateful to Prof. Mahmood Ayyaz, Prof. Asghar Naqi, the Syndicate of King Edward Medical University, and the Government of Punjab for appointing me as Chairman, Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, Mayo Hospital Lahore.

This appointment is both a privilege and a profound responsibility. I am committed to building upon the rich legacy of our department by strengthening patient care, promoting surgical excellence, fostering academic growth, and encouraging innovation in orthopaedic practice. Together with my colleagues, trainees, and staff, I will strive to further enhance the standards of clinical services, education, and research for the benefit of our patients and the wider community.

I look forward to serving with dedication, integrity, and a shared vision of making our department a leading centre of excellence in orthopaedic surgery.
