A wonderful POMSS Symposium on Metabolic & Bariatric Surgery, bringing together surgeons from across Pakistan to exchange knowledge, share experiences and learn from one another.

Congratulations to the POMSS Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chapter, especially Prof. Zarin and Dr. Shah Abbas, for organizing such an engaging and memorable meeting.

I am particularly grateful to the Society and Prof. Dr. Ghulam Saddique for the very special recognition on receiving the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz and for acknowledging my journey and contributions to Metabolic & Bariatric Surgery.

To receive this appreciation amongst friends, colleagues and fellow surgeons made it all the more meaningful. Deeply grateful.

A few highlights from the last day of the surgery rotation with our House Officers—Hamza, Hussain, Moeed, and Hisham.

Over the past month, they were part of 100+ surgical cases, gaining hands-on experience and seeing the realities of life in the operating room. We wrapped up the rotation with 11 successful cases on the final day.

Wishing all of you the very best in your future rotations.

A special thanks to our outstanding Anaesthesia team, led by Brig. Dr. Mubeen. Completing 11 cases in a single day wouldn’t have been possible without their hard work and teamwork.
