14th August Independence Day at VOICE ILC. We are profoundly grateful and deeply moved by the extraordinary compassion, dedication, and patriotic spirit demonstrated by the Law Department Students of the University of Central Punjab, Lahore. On the auspicious occasion of 14th August, Pakistan’s Independence Day, these remarkable young leaders chose to celebrate not in isolation, but by sharing the true essence of freedom with the children of VOICE Independent Living Center.

Their visit was far more than a celebration. It was a powerful statement of inclusion, empathy, and national unity. The laughter, the songs, the cake-cutting, and the shared moments of joy instilled in them a renewed sense of belonging, confidence, and self-worth. They sang national songs; they participated in the quiz program. With immense thoughtfulness, the students brought with them cakes, delicious biryani, cold drinks, national flags, badges, balloons, gifts, and countless smiles.

This beautiful initiative was led with exemplary vision by Mr. Hamad ur Rehman, Head of VIS. His leadership inspired his peers to look beyond the classroom and embrace the values of humanity, equality, and inclusivity.

To the entire Law Department of the University of Central Punjab, we extend our heartfelt appreciation. You have shown us what true patriotism looks like: a Pakistan where no child is left behind.
We look forward to many more collaborations as we work together to build a more inclusive and compassionate society.,

Our Motto is . Be ready for “Inclusion in all aspects of life.
