Sprout X FCCU
In May 2025, Sprout Resource Center formalized a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Forman Christian College University (FCCU), establishing a framework for meaningful collaboration in psychology, mental health, education, and allied health sciences.
The signing ceremony brought together the leadership of both institutions, including Dr. Jonathan S. Addleton, Rector, FCCU; Dr. Sikander Hayat, Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences; Clinical Director, Sprout Resource Center Ms Fariha Mujahid, and Director HR, Sprout Resource Center, Mr Mujahid Rashid. We are especially grateful to Dr. Ivan Suneel, Chairperson, Department of Psychology; and Dr. Abia, Assistant Professor, Department of Psychology, whose guidance, engagement, and continued coordination were instrumental in bringing this collaboration to fruition.
Through this partnership, Sprout and FCCU are creating opportunities for:
• Student internships and supervised professional exposure, connecting academic learning with real-world practice
• Clinical and practical learning opportunities for the development of a more skilled, informed, and ethically grounded mental health and allied health workforce in Pakistan
• Guest lectures, workshops, seminars, and professional development initiatives for students and practitioners
• Knowledge exchange between academic and clinical professionals, strengthening evidence-informed practice
• Collaborative research and academic initiatives
• Capacity building and training opportunities for emerging professionals entering the field
We look forward to building meaningful opportunities for collaboration, learning, professional development, and better support for the communities we serve.
