IPMR proudly contributed to the national advancement of Occupational Therapy education through its representation at the HEC Curriculum Review Committee meeting hosted at Ziauddin University, Karachi.

Ms. Nazish Qadir, Occupational Therapist and Coordinator of the OT Discipline at IPMR, represented the department in shaping a modern, competency-based curriculum aligned with evolving healthcare needs and international standards.

The revised curriculum integrates emerging domains, professional competencies, and strengthened supervised clinical training to meet contemporary healthcare demands.

Experts from academia, industry, and AHPC reviewed academic and laboratory requirements alongside global best practices, including guidelines from the World Federation of Occupational Therapists, to enhance the quality and uniformity of Occupational Therapy education in Pakistan.
