She was not just a patient, she was family to us. For over 14 years, it was an honor for our team at Intensive Health Services (IHS) to provide her with continuous home medical care. Serving her with dedication and compassion was truly a privilege
Her Highness Begum Shamsa Abbasi (also known as Shamsa Parveen) was the wife of the late His Highness Abbas Khan Abbasi, former Nawab and Amir of Bahawalpur, and the mother of the current Amir, His Highness Salahuddin Ahmed Abbasi. The Abbasi family holds a respected legacy in education and social welfare
We are deeply saddened by this loss and grateful for the trust placed in us over the years
