There is a quiet suffering that comes from losing contact with the invisible.

We have built a world of singals without symbols. Of causes without mystery. Of everything explained, and so, everything smaller.

Sanctum is not here to explain. It is here to leave room — for the coincidence that means something, for the dream that lingers, for the thing that cannot be quantified but is somehow still real.

A re-enchantment. Not of belief, but of contact.

Negar a dualidade é negar a autenticidade, é negar a essência. É mentir a nós mesmos enquanto vamos mentindo à nossa volta.

Deixar a pressa
Entregar-se à presença,
Soltar as exigências da resolução,
E ser
O caminho é o do cuidado e devagar, lá chegaremos meu bem 🐝

Historically, when women were given the chance to train in medical professions, they naturally focused their care on women and children, either by choice or by necessity. For centuries, food preparation, childcare, and healthcare were predominantly held in the hands of women. We shared experiences about the deep complexities of our lifespans: menstruation, pregnancy, loss, postpartum, and menopause.

But as the modern pharmaceutical industry rose to dominance, much of this ancient, holistic herbal knowledge was oppressed, marginalized, and replaced.

The Modern Gap in Woman’s Health

Today, there is still a massive gap between conventional healthcare and the intuitive, natural practices that truly support a woman’s body. If you are a woman struggling with premenstrual symptoms, painful periods, endometriosis, infertility, or pelvic inflammation, you already know that the modern medical system rarely addresses the root cause.

There is a common misconception that working with plants is just an “esoteric art.” In reality, it is a precise, time-tested pharmacy designed to support our complex biology.

Reclaiming our body sovereignty is about more than just reawakening forgotten knowledge. It is about taking full responsibility for our own health and trusting what is most real: the immense wisdom of the plant kingdom.

This path gains its true depth and power when it is shared. By coming together as women to share our histories, studies, and experiences, we can begin to heal chronic imbalances that western medicine often deems unfixable.

Thank you this amazing group who joined The Woman’s Herbal course. Together, we are remembering, reclaiming, and healing. ✨

One of the things the plant world constantly brings up for me, I even feel as if the plants were speaking to me is this: “The more present you are with life, walking with patience, the more you will be capable of attracting what you’re seeking.” This repeats over and over.
We are approaching the summer solstice, and with that, the plants ruled by the sun begin to show themselves. I need to collect St. John’s Wort for .life (it’s present in our amazing formula, Happy Mood by the way 😉) and also for myself, to prepare a lovely oil to apply on my feet through autumn and winter.
I reached out to two friends, asking if they could tell me where they had seen an abundance of Hypericum / St. John’s Wort. One simply told me to look in the fields, among the rocks, and so on. The other said she hadn’t seen much of it yet either.
I went for a morning bike ride with my son in the valley where we live. As we pedalled, I was always looking at the plants, observing who was around : I found Esteva, Helichrysum, still some wild Lavender, Fel da Terra... but no St. John’s Wort…
Later, entering the valley again, I was driving very slowly, contemplating the golden afternoon light filtering through the trees , and suddenly I began to see St. John’s Wort. I got as excited as a young girl who has just found something she was truly searching for. I stopped the car, allowed the plant to show me where more of her was, and slowly began to collect, until I arrived home with this wonderful bouquet of St. John’s Wort in my hands and a deep feeling of gratitude.
A reminder to trust in life, to let go of control, and to be as present as I can so I may harvest what is there for me, in the right time. ❤️

For most of history, healing was a craft passed from woman to woman. It was a shared wisdom rooted in the rhythms of our bodies—menstruation, birth, and the change of life—supported by the wild medicine growing at our doorsteps.

While modern medicine has advanced, it often lacks the nuance required to truly care for the female form, leaving us feeling disconnected from our own natural heritage. This gathering is an invitation to close that gap. By returning to botanical medicine, we honor the “wise women” who came before us, reclaiming a lineage of care built on community and intuition. The Woman’s Herbal is your space to regain health sovereignty. Through a blend of clinical herbalism and deep ancestral connection, you will learn to nourish yourself and carry that grounded wisdom back to your community.

The Alchemy of Being: Where the Body Becomes a Temple
Ten days of surrender. Ten days where time stood still so that healing could flow. I have just concluded giving one more cycle of Panchakarma—a journey where hands do more than touch the skin; they awaken the memory of the cells. Between the liquid gold of medicated oils, the breath of Nasya, and the rhythm of Shirodhara—that brings peace and silences the mind—we navigated the deep waters of Basti and the herbs that purify the blood.

Now comes the food-as-medicine. It is more than nutrition; it is a balm for the nervous system and a feast for the spirit.
I recognize the sacred privilege of having the time and capacity for this immersion. (Ten years ago, I was the one receiving this miracle for 21 days to heal my womb) today, I bow to the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda. I am humbled to be a vessel for this medicine that does not just treat the body, but restores the soul. 🙌
