“Why is your pond so green?”
Welllll… it turns out green isn’t always a bad thing. 🌿
That colour comes from microscopic algae and other tiny organisms creating a living, breathing aquatic ecosystem. Natural ponds like this are full of biodiversity, often associated with restoration, vitality, and wellbeing.
We can’t promise miracles, but we can say this: the dogs always emerge with ridiculously soft coats, the water lilies are thriving, and everyone seems a little happier after a dip.
And on those scorching summer days, when the heat hangs heavy in the air, the pond becomes the perfect refuge. The cool water is incredibly refreshing leaving your skin soft, your body revived, and your mind just a little quieter.
Of course, we should mention Bulan… our resident Rottweiler mermaid 🐾💦 She absolutely lives for the water. Splashes, dives, and her cute twirls. The lily pads don’t always survive her enthusiasm, but honestly, how do you say no to that kind of happiness?
The lotus flowers are still beautiful in their quiet moments — even if a little fleeting… though perhaps that’s just nature reminding us that everything soft and alive is always changing (especially when Bulan is involved).
Maybe it’s the algae. Maybe it’s the microbes. Maybe it’s simply the magic of a living pond. 💚✨
