Holding on to stress or negative feelings can cause all kinds of discomfort, diseases and pain in the body. This technique helps us to tune into the negative patterns that we form around our uncomfortable thoughts or troubling memories. While focussing on the core issue of the problem, we gently tap with the fingers on certain meridian points, mainly on the face and hands. This tapping activates the energy system and helps to release stagnant emotions and pain that are trapped in the body. The results are often astonishing and fast. Scientific research has proven that by applying EFT, a calming signal is send to a part of the brain called the amygdala and lowers the cortisol (stress hormone) levels in the body. The World Health Organization has annouced that stress is the health epidemic of the 21st century. Meridian tapping is an effective tool that gives you the power to take control over your physical and mental health. One can use EFT for trauma, fears, anxiety, anger, depression, pain, PTSD, insomnia, stress, overeating and many other issues. Some of the benefits of EFT are:
- Usually rapid, long lasting results
-No pills, chemicals or needles
-It´s gentle
-no side effects
-Easy to learn and apply to yourself
-Affordable
-Often works where nothing else seems to
-Sessions can also be done online and are just as effective
