Reminiscing over the event held by the Irish Pharmacy Union (IPU) at the Alex Hotel! It was great to celebrate as a committee alongside pharmacists and professionals discussing the theme ‘Empowering Pharmacists for Healthier Futures’.

This theme highlights the ongoing expansion of the pharmacists’ role that we are seeing here in Ireland. It shows us as students that we are stepping into a profession that will allow us to provide healthcare on a wider scale 🥼💊

That’s a WRAP on our Twinnet Exchange Programme 2026!💃

IPSA was delighted to welcome students from Coimbra, Portugal🇵🇹 to Dublin, Ireland🇮🇪

Students had the chance to explore the beautiful streets of Dublin City, visit the iconic Book of Kells at Trinity College Dublin and the opportunity to experience the rich history, culture and energy of our capital☘️

They also enjoyed traditional Irish food, walked through many of Dublin’s most well known attractions and took part in a range of inspiring talks with colleagues from TCD, RCSI, Boots and the Irish Medicines Verification Organisation!

It was an enjoyable week of learning, connection and shared experiences! We are very grateful to our committee members on IPSA and various colleagues who helped make it happen.

A huge thank you to Ascella Health, The Irish Medicines Verification Organisation and Xpress Health for their sponsorship and support throughout the exchange. Your contribution made this experience possible and is truly appreciated!
