Co-founded by brothers Toni and Guy Mascolo in 1963 with the opening of first salon in Clapham, London, now has over 440 salons in 43 countries worldwide and employs over 5000 people in the Uk and a further 2000 people across the world. Sacha Mascolo-Tarbuck daughter of founder and CEO Toni Mascolo, is the youngest ever person to win Newcomer of the Year at the British Hairdressing Awards aged 19. She is now Global Creative Director and her husband James Tarbuck is Global Brand Director for the company. In 2008 Sacha was crowned HAIRDRESSER of the YEAR at the HAIR Magazine Awards and in 2007 won UK's 'Most Wanted' Look of The Year and 'Fashion Focused Image of the Year' from the Fellowship of British Hairdressers. TONI&GUY have won over 85 awards - 47 of which are British Hairdressing Awards with the Artistic Team winning Best British Artistic Team a record 11 times. Each year the International Artistic Team travel to 25 countries and created the hair for numerous shows and seminars on a global scale, attended by literally thousands of hairdressers each year. TONI&GUY has its own media department which combines PR, advertising, design, TV and publishing and receives more than 100 press enquiries per day! In 2003, TONI&GUY launched it's own charity, "The TONI&GUY Charitable Foundation", which is committed to raising £700,000 for the refurbishment of a new children's ward at the Variety Club Children's Hospital, King's College in London. It will be known as the TONI&GUY Ward, and will care for chronically sick children from all over the UK. As of March 2009 the remaining balance now stands at £70K to raise.
